I have just received some information that suggests that the 06/07 prices for TVU may be less than I was lead to believe - I await further news

Early warning

Anyone following the government's comments on Further Education will know that there is a re-allocation of resources underway to the 14 to 19 age group. For boaters this means that as from September 06 the TVU courses will no longer attract government funding - still it was good whilst it lasted. 

It looks very much as if the cost of these courses from September 06 will be in the region of £200 for the 12 hour, two day courses.

Regrettably I have had no luck in locating a boat club or similar who have a room suitable for setting up as a class room and hard standing, outside, for our running engines, so the RCR Reading courses are still  on hold. 

The other RCR courses should run as advertised.

RCR & TB Training delivered a very successful Maintenance Course for The Royal Harwich Yacht Club in November that was arguably better received than our Inland Courses, so Tony is now happy to deliver to sailing clubs etc.

In the new year TB Training has been booked to deliver a low voltage DC electrics course for Ebespacher's air con. department.
