I know that many people who have done a course (RYA or ours) do not feel confident enough to do much actual work on their boats. I also know that many people either can not match our course dates to their available time.

The following are offered as a means to overcome these sorts of problems. 

The prices are for courses up to 120 miles form Reading.

These courses are mainly offered during the week.

Customers are responsible for obtain all necessary permissions and to obtain "own risk" wavers from all participants.

SERVICE YOUR BOAT UNDER SUPERVISION

I will travel to your boat and help/instruct you in the basic service tasks as per your engine manual. Typically change engine oil & filter, gearbox oil, air filter, fuel filters and water traps, alternator belt, raw water pump impeller, top up batteries & test, check alternator performance, check coolant antifreeze strength.

Other tasks can be added if required as long as they fall within then 6 hour limit.

I will provide a basic toolkit and any specialist tools and instruments, you will have to provide the service parts and dispose of the old oils and filters.

The cost of this will be £120 for up to 6 hours . Overnight accommodation at cost if required.

I will take up to 4 boats and 8 persons, each additional boat paying an additional £60.

THEORY ONLY COURSES AT YOUR PREMISES

I will deliver the theory only part of one of our "main stream" courses at your premises/boat for £120 for a 1-day course (6 hours) of up to 6 people. Each additional person paying £20. Our standard course books will be provided.

This is not ideal, but if it is all you can organise, it may be better than nothing.

Overnight accommodation at cost if required.

By using one of our training partners we can offer our full courses at your premises – phone for a quote (it will depend upon your location and the most satisfactory partner to use).
